Abstract
Double borates of composition M3In(BO3)3 (M = Ba, Sr) were prepared by solid-phase reactions and studied using X-ray diffraction powder analysis and IR spectroscopy. The compounds were shown to be isostructural and to crystallize in trigonal space group \(R\bar 3\), Z = 6. Unit cell parameters were refined for both phases.
