Abstract
Fauna composition and new findings of Exocoetidae in Russian waters are considered. It is established that eight species of flying fishes belonging to five genera are found in Russian waters. Among them, in Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan), junior individuals of oceanic species (Exocoetus monocirrhus, Prognichthys sealei) that usually avoid inland seas were recorded. New findings of Cyselurus hiraii, Hirundichthys oxycephalus, and H. speculiger are described. A catch of C. hiraii and H. speculiger at coordinates 42°00′ N and 147°00′ E is the northernmost point of discovery of both species. H. speculiger was recorded in Russian waters for the first time.
