Abstract

Results of studies on the health status of fish according to the indicator of bactericidal activity of blood serum are presented. The relationship between the level of bactericidal activity of blood serum and the portion of immunodeficient and immunoreactive fish specimens with extensive and intensive infestation by parasites and winter resistance is shown. The possibility of the use of bactericidal activity of blood serum as an indicator for the assessment of the health status of fish is suggested.
