On the temperature dependence of the coefficient of volume expansion of metals

Abstract

A detailed calculation of the coefficient of volume expansion of metals α P has been performed based on a microscopic approach. A satisfactory agreement of the theoretically calculated values with the experimental values is demonstrated.
