Abstract

As a result of the collection and study of brachiopods from the Permian deposits of the Boreal Khangai-Khentei marine basin of Mongolia, during the 50–year work of the Joint Russian-Mongolian paleontological expedition, new data were obtained on the taxonomic composition, stratigraphic and geographical distribution of the identified Permian brachiopod assemblages; the proposed correlation schemes and biogeographic reconstructions are used in geological work in the adjacent territories of Russia and China.
