Abstract

Ostracods of the genus Palaeocytheridea, including P. (Palaeocytheridea) bakirovi Mandelstam, 1947, P. (P.) carinilia (Sylvester-Bradley, 1948), P. (P.) pavlovi (Lyubimova, 1955), P. (Malzevia) parabakirovi Malz, 1962, and P. (M.) blaszykina Franz, Tesakova et Beher, 2009, are described in detail.
