Abstract

The taxonomic composition and geographic range of Campanian and Maastrichtian echinoids of the Lesser and Greater Caucasus and Transcaspian Region are considered based on paleontological materials and published data. In the central part of the Mediterranean Paleobiogeographic Region, the Caucasian-Transcaspian Province, with the Lesser Caucasian Subprovince is recognized in the Campanian and, in the Maastrichtian, the same province with the Lesser Caucasian and Turkmenian subprovinces are established.
