Abstract

A new type of nutation oscillations is described arising only in the phase of a nonresonant electromagnetic wave (in the vicinity of its leading edge) propagating in the ensemble of quantum dots and producing electron transfer between the states of the quantum dots with approximately the same energy. It is shown that the period of the nutation oscillations can be used to determine main parameters of the nonresonant electron transfer between the quantum dots.
