Kinetics and Catalysis Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Crystalline Cu2O nanoparticles were synthesized via the templating method by taking advantage of the chelation of chitosan with copper ions. Experimental data indicated that Cu2O-embedded film exhibited higher photocatalytic activity toward methhyl orange degradation under visible light irradiation.
