Journal of Structural Chemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Structures of two new copper(II) chloride complexes with 2,5-bis(ethylthio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (L), mononuclear CuL2Cl2 and tetranuclear Cu4L4Cl8, are determined by X-RAY diffractometry. The polycrystalline phase of the CuL2Cl2 complex is determined and studied by CHN analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder XRD, and static magnetic susceptibility methods.
