Abstract

This work summarizes results of a study of the structure and properties of double and triple molybdates in M2MoO4R2(MoO4)3–Zr(MoO4)2 systems (M = K, Rb, Cs, R is a triply charged cation). Features of the formation of new double and triple molybdates LnxZry(MoO4)z (Ln = La–Lu, Y) and MaRbZrc(MoO4)d (M = K, Rb, Cs; R = Ln, R3+) are revealed, the corresponding single crystals are prepared, their structures are determined. Crystallographic, thermal, and electrophysical characteristics of individual phases are determined. The “composition–structure–properties” relation in the systems is established.
