Journal of Applied Mechanics and Technical Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

This paper presents the results of modeling of unsteady fluid filtration in a reservoir penetrated by a well crossed by a vertical finite-length hydraulic fracture over the entire thickness of the reservoir. The method of integral Laplace transforms is applied to obtain an analytical solution to the system of equations describing fluid filtration in the reservoir and a fracture. The main characteristic features of the studied filtration process in the reservoir — fracture system are revealed on the basis of the analysis of the obtained solutions.
