Abstract

The temperature dependence of the conditions of formation of limiting (steady) structural states at severe plastic deformation of amorphous alloys has been theoretically analyzed. Within an approach based on principles of nonequilibrium thermodynamics, it has been shown that, depending on the temperature of severe plastic deformation, the free energy of the steady state can be both above and below the energy of the initial state.
