Isomorphous Bismuth Substitution for Neodymium in the Nd5Mo3O16 + δ Molybdate

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract—

Isomorphous bismuth substitution for neodymium in the Nd5Mo3O16 + δ compound has been studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure of a single-phase solid solution with the composition Nd4.95Bi0.05Mo3O16 + δ has been refined by the Rietveld method, and the electrical conductivity of the modified molybdate has been measured in the temperature range 300–700°C.
