Nonlinear optical and acoustic properties of thin films

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

The nonlinear optical and acoustic properties of thin films have been studied experimentally. The following nonlinear effects have been investigated: acoustic wave generation; stimulated light scattering due to acousto-optic interaction; and the influence of excitation conditions, film structure, and film composition on the above effects.
