Ionic conduction and chemical diffusion in Cu2−x S codoped with magnesium and aluminum

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

The ionic conductivity of Cu2−x S codoped with aluminum and magnesium has been measured between 320 and 430°C. The results demonstrate that the codoping produces no sharp changes in ionic conductivity. In both undoped and doped Cu1.98S, the chemical (ambipolar) diffusion coefficient of cations and holes exhibits non-Arrhenius behavior.
