Abstract
The effusion method with mass spectrometric analysis of the vapor composition of systems with the initial compositions of V-MnF3 and V-UF4 are applied to determine Δ r H ○0 (kJ/mol) for reactions MnF4 + VF4 = MnF3 + VF5 (−17.5 ± 3.9) and VF4 + UF4 = VF3 + UF5 (≥27.5).
