Abstract

In this study, the UiO-66-NH2@PMAA metal-organic framework was prepared by using a hydrothermal reaction coupled with the gamma-ray irradiation method. The chemical structure of the product was studied using FTIR and XPS before and after irradiation, indicating the efficient development of the grafting reaction. The DSC results revealed a drop in the melting point of UiO-66-NH2@PMAA material, which might be attributed to PMAM grafting. Following that, different MOF materials were suction-filtered onto the surface of the membrane, and the alteration of their contact angle with time was recorded, indicating the enhancement of UiO-66-NH2@PMAA materials’ hydrophilicity. The modified MOF material has better dispersibility in aqueous solutions, providing reference significance for its application in related fields.
