Abstract
The magnetic field generated by an acoustic wave from a nonstationary point source in an infinite marine medium has been considered. The spatial-temporal structure of the induced field has been studied in a quasistatic approximation and taking into account self-induction. The magnetic field in the transient and stationary regimes has been considered.
