Abstract
The Oriental chestnut gall wasp Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu, 1951 began to cause significant damage soon after its introduction to forests with participation of the sweet chestnut in Russia. The study of its biology revealed the presence of several insect species using the galls of D. kuriphilus as a new habitat. It remains unknown how these consumers affect the Oriental chestnut gall wasp.
