Abstract

—A new idiocerine leafhopper, Pretioscopus jukwa sp. n., is described as the second species of the genus from Ghana. Rotifunkia guttifera (Walker, 1851) is recorded for the first time from Ghana, with notes on its 5th instar larva and host plant. The composition and taxonomic position of Eurymelinae and Idiocerini are discussed.
