Abstract
A new genus and a new species of the tribe Hemisphaeriini Melichar of the family Issidae Spinola are described from Northern Vietnam. Lectotype of Hemisphaerius interclusus Noualhier, 1896 is designated. New data on the distribution and ecology of H. interclusus and H. hippocrepis Constant et Pham, 2011 in Southern Vietnam are provided.
