Abstract

Dependence of the lime moth Phyllonorycter issikii Kumata (Lepidoptera, Gracillariidae) population polymorphism on infestation density of Tilia cordata Mill. was studied for the first time in 2001–2005 at three sites in the city of Izhevsk. The growth of the infestation rate results in an increase in the fraction of the dark morph of the moth significantly differing in the longer wings and higher fecundity.
