Abstract

The data on the morphology of cornicles in nymphs of 27 oribatid species of the family Damaeidae are presented. The morphology of cornicles within and between the genera is compared. Some morphological characteristics of cornicles can be used as additional taxonomic characters for the identification of the genera.
