Abstract
The elder-instar larva of Altica deserticola is described for the first time, and the last-instar larva of A. engstroemi is re-described. The diagnostic characters are included. The former species develops on Glycyrrhiza, and the latter one, on Filipendula ulmaria. Some questions on the general morphology of the larvae of Altica are discussed.
