Abstract

Meromyza filippovi sp. n. is described from the European part of Turkey [TURKEY: Sariyer, Buyukdere (41.163852°N, 29.042238°E), 19.VIII.1938, coll. Zhenzhurist (= N.N. Filippov)]. The holotype of the new species is deposited at the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University.
