Abstract

The present communication includes descriptions of, and keys to larvae of the tribe Athysanini. Based on larval and imaginal characters, the tribe is subdivided into four subtribes: Athysanina, Allygidiina subtrib. n. (type genus Allygidius Ribaut), Platymetopiina, and Cicadulina.
