Abstract
We study a mathematical model describing the vibrations of a microinhomogeneous heterogeneous medium with ɛ-periodic structure. We assume that the heterogeneous medium consists of an isotropic viscoelastic material with a long-time memory and a slightly viscous compressible liquid. For this model, we construct the corresponding homogenized model describing the behavior of the heterogeneous medium as ɛ → 0.
