Abstract
Dynamics of attitude motion of an axisymmetric satellite moving in a circular orbit under the action of gravitational and aerodynamic torques is investigated. All equilibrium positions of the satellite in the orbital coordinate system are determined numerically, and sufficient conditions of stability of the equilibrium positions are derived.
