Abstract

The relevance of measurements of asteroid occultations to the problem of better determination of characteristics of near-Earth objects is discussed. After considering the question how the measurements are conducted, the problem of observation by this method of small rapidly moving objects is discussed. A description of measurement setup proposed for observation of these events is presented.
