Mean Values of Fuzzy Numbers and Their Extremal Properties

Abstract

The extremal properties of the mean characteristics of systems of fuzzy numbers with respect to some metrics on the set of fuzzy numbers are established. The extremal properties of mean values for systems of discrete fuzzy sets are considered.
