Abstract

New connection structure and computation arrangement are proposed for a multiprocessor system combining computations and data transmission. Fast connection reorganization and computational speedup in such systems are achieved by using non-typically connected switches. Implementation of some typical computational algorithms is considered, computation speed is estimated. It is shown that small modifications in the multiprocessor system arrangement allow to speed up computations with respect to known estimates.
