Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the role of system properties of convective clouds in the formation of their macro- and microstructural characteristics. It is noted that research in this direction is one of the ways to develop cloud physics at the next stage. The results of numerical experiments on investigating the influence of the ambient atmosphere on the formation of macro- and microstructural characteristics of convective clouds are presented. It is the influence of the atmosphere that is one of the main structure-forming factors for clouds. The structure of the wind field in the atmosphere is considered the mechanism of the influence of the ambient atmosphere on cloud formation processes. The research is conducted on the basis of a 3D nonstationary model of thunderstorm clouds.
