Abstract

The results of using an original procedure for estimating albedo from the photogrammetric data and exposure parameters by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Antarctica are discussed. The difficulties of photogrammetric observations performed under extreme conditions are considered. Conclusions are drawn on the ways to improve the recording equipment and on the course of refining the procedure for calculating albedo values based on photogrammetric materials and metadata.
