Abstract
The optical-phonon Green’s function averaged over the positions of defects—both point and line— is calculated with allowance for possible localized states near the boundary of the continuous spectrum and for their intrinsic damping. The frequency-transfer dependence of the cross section for Raman scattering is calculated with the aid of this Green’s function.
