Abstract

The specific features of the spin-flop and spin-flip transitions in thin antiferromagnetic layers and “ ferromagnet-nonmagnetic metal” multilayer magnetic structures are considered. The dependence of the magnetic fields corresponding to these phase transitions on the thickness of the antiferromagnet or on the number of layers in the multilayer is determined.
