Abstract

The electromagnetic form factor of the π meson is calculated in terms of the QCD sum rules for a pion axial-vector current with allowance made for the radiative QCD corrections. The derived dependence of the pion form factor on the square of the transferred momentum Q 2 is in good agreement with the experimental data. The QCDc orrections are shown to make a large contribution, and they should be taken into account in a rigorous theoretical analysis.
