Abstract

The drift of regions in northeast Eurasia was studied using the precise satellite geodesy method (Global Positioning System (GPS)). Observational data were analyzed invoking the International Database. Despite the rather short observations (∼6 years), the drift directions of the basic Eurasia and Northern America regions were detected and the drift velocities were estimated. The results of the study are discussed in general terms of the deformation and fracture of solids.
