Abstract
Charge ordering in a layered manganite La1.2Sr1.8Mn2O7 crystal with structural domains was studied using neutron diffraction in the temperature range 175–700 K. The wave vector of the charge ordering in the crystal is found to be q ≅ {0.2, 0, 0}2π/a. It is argued that the actual domain structure of the anisotropic crystal affects its charge-ordering state.
