Abstract
Dynamical characteristics of the optical magnetic transition in a manganese arsenide film have been studied. The results are considered with allowance for the possible generation of light-induced longitudinal elastic waves at the surface, which produce compression of the manganese arsenide film and cause the transition from the ferromagnetic to a disordered magnetic state.
