Abstract
The patterns of velocity and acceleration distribution in an electrohydrodynamic through flow in a symmetric system of electrodes have been experimentally studied. Analysis of the main features in the kinematic and dynamic flow structures provides information on the distribution of space charge and the course of events in the recombination zone. It is established that the recombination zone extends beyond the interelectrode space.
