Quenching of luminescence of cyclometalated Pt(II) complexes by molecular oxygen

Abstract

A method of studying the quenching of luminescence of cyclometalated ethylenediamine complexes of Pt(II) by molecular oxygen is developed. The bimolecular rate constants of quenching are determined.
