Modeling of a discharge in crossed fields with account of collisions and ionization

Abstract

A one-dimensional mathematical model is proposed for calculating the characteristics of a discharge in crossed electric and magnetic fields. In particular, the model can be applied for calculating electric propulsion engines with closed (azimuthal) drift of electrons.
