Abstract
A tunnel current through a heterostructure whose barrier contains quantum rings is calculated. The plane of the rings is parallel to the barrier interface. In a magnetic field perpendicular to this plane, a tunnel current at a fixed bias experiences Aharonov-Bohm oscillations under the variation of magnetic flux through a ring; however, these oscillations are not strictly periodic.
