Abstract
Anomalously large variations in the electrical properties of [N(CH3)4]2CuBr4 crystals manifested by the disappearance of the spontaneous polarization (ferroelectricity) under the action of small uniaxial mechanical stresses. The observed effect is reversible and nonlinear.
