Abstract
A method and an associated device for directly measuring the current distribution over 28 radially converging electron beams are considered. The operation of the device, which can easily be installed in the coaxial system of a gas-discharge electron source, is described. The short-focus radial beams are found to feature a relatively high current uniformity.
