Abstract
A transport equation in the small-angle approximation is obtained for a curvilinear beam of fast charged particles passing through a substance in a nonuniform magnetic field. Green functions for this equation are found for an annular beam in a weak-focusing field and for a helical beam in the nonuniform magnetic field.
