Abstract
The influence of continuous-wave pumping on the propagation of solitons of magnetostatic spin waves is studied. It is shown that, at certain conditions when the frequency of the continuously excited wave falls into the spectrum of a soliton-like pulse, the nonlinear interaction results in soliton decay. Numerical calculations of this effect are presented.
