Limiting degree of polarization of a nonmonochromatic radiation propagating in a fiber guide with random inhomogeneities

Abstract

It is shown that the mean degree of polarization of a nonmonochromatic radiation propagating in a fiber guide with random inhomogeneities tends to zero as the fiber length tends to infinity.
