Abstract
The effect of radiation on the kinetics of the late stage of first-order phase transitions (Ostvald ripening) was studied. In particular, features of the growth kinetics of nuclei were revealed in relation to their size and time of exposure to radiation. Possible approaches to controlling the nucleus growth kinetics were shown.
